Good luck with them Chris. You might even get them into the last few young bird races - going as "trainers"
I'm no authority mate but I think 30 miles is plenty.
Me personally - I dont put y.birds in the race basket unless they have been singled up from at least 25 miles

you might have to pay for a crate as you can't put old rings in with ybs but you definitely got to try and loose them training go alot if you don't race they are not the same

Thought that most clubs/feds allow you to send birds as trainers. We still have to pay full price and all trainers go in a seperate crate but just thought it would be good for Chris to get them going as soon as poss.
Me personally - some of my best young birds have been later- bred babies that have been " fast-tracked" into the race basket. I think they learn quicker.
I too have a few in the nest at the mo for that very purpose.

Probably not allow young birds with 2025 2024 rings on longs as I train them weather permitting a few times a week on even on sataday they should get some idea what's its all about going hit other little mobs up in air and should learn to home that's my plan with these few I got
