Went through my fed results
Mid way through season
So far 14 of my hens have scored fed cards one hen 4 times another 3 ,few on 2 times
Cocks so far 6 cocks have score fed cards 2 cocks twice others once
So hens are 60 percent up on cocks mid season

I haven't done my clocking sheets that's normally birds with in first min of first bird iv only counted ones in fed sheet that's 5 positions

Same here my hen with 4 fed turns 7 races is racing to a V perch don't even look at cocks lol

Yesterday I left the doors open after clocks I only had to remove 2 hens out of 12

48 never goes in there she hadn’t been out the first 6 in the fed for 4 weeks to the peregrine hit her

I honestly don't think they race to cocks pal

I think if you are very limited on time then hens are fantastic

Honest, need little to no motivation and are super consistent

If you have the time and are dedicated then cocks are brilliant to play games with and motivate

I always have believed that your best hen is better than your worst cock and vice versa

Raced widowhood stay at home hens ,widowhood hens stay at home cocks ,hens racing to perch all in one season truth is hens racing to perch beat the widowhood pigeons 80 percent of time ,,
I hear it regularly cocks sulk ,well iv never seen a pigeon sulk ,,I hear this birds fill the cold but never seen one shiver I honestly don't buy in two any of these things any more ,,unless it's warm and 1400,1500 ypm plus race u really don't see cocks make a impact on result and end of Yr the unc winners national winners it's very hen dominate,,

Must say tho watching cocks loft fly is best by far but they don't bk it up race day often enough

There a joy when bang tight I use to enjoy Thursday night as much as a race day watching them when I was doing ok with Cocks

Yes agree where there like a firework all parts of sky just beautiful to watch ,but they are so much harder than hens for less reward

Do you think racing the cocks partner takes the edge off the cocks ?
I still think it does where the hens don’t care

I think most pigeons have a love for home whether they are cocks or hens

I do think hens are motivated to roost and be on their perch, box or even just home where as a cock benefits from driving a hen as he wants to get her to roost which in turn motivates him more
