I've never used a floor dressing before, but due to this persistent wet weather the floor is not as dry as I like it. Having a very open loft the birds look great but I'm not happy with the floor. Anybody used a floor dressing and what was the results?

The harkers loft white is fine king. I've used it in the past does the job.

I use limestone flour (calcium carbonate) around tenner for a 25kg bag

Floor whites are probably OK for the birds but would question whether they are any good for you king.
For me, I find them quite dusty in the loft - you have to brush them well in which causes dust anyway.
I have a bucket of solasan which has a pleasant smell to it, but only use it if I spill anything as the dust gets on my chest.

we used Limestone (Dollar) dust for years, about £3 to £4 for a 20 kg bag extremely absorbent important to keep bone dry whilst storing

I’ve take to buying a large roll of corrugated cardboard from Amazon, just roll it up once a week or so and put a fresh piece down. No mess no dust, and if you’ve only a small loft one roll would probably last all winter.

same as resposan dry but fraction of price and kills all germs and smells good

get it at local farmer supplies about 12 quid lasts forever

I don't think they will send by courier at all only local pickup.

Worm just done a google on that one and found one that is wood and called dry bed as well can't see if same or different, any ideas
