Would iodine on the feed kill any fungus or would it not be the same as putting it in the drinking water, doesn't Acrflavin do the same thing if mixed with the feed.

Back in the 90s I think Aviform made a product you could mix into the corn that would kill mould, can’t remember its name. According to google lowering ph inhibits mould growth. Do you think it’s an issue Neil? I would have thought properly store grains would be ok. I watched a deweert interview recently and he didn’t think yeast infection in pigeons was an issue.NeilA wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 7:27 pm Does apple cider vinegar kill all fungus on corn
I can remember another product that use to do it that wasn’t made for pigeon fanciers think it began with A the name escapes me
My good pal Barry Smailes told me years ago always put the corn in a bucket and wet it with ACV then feed it over the next few days
I wasn’t sure it would work 100 per cent
Mike mentioned it the other day for the PH
I have been putting it on my barley for the fungus this winter but not really sure if I should be
Ph wise I do via water do it’s more for fungus
