What approach do members take when fetching baby's in ,
My self I'm very tough on new birds but mine also
I will train new birds in thick fog single toss them ,will take them different directions ,will toss in super strong winds I try to treat them like sas selection and really weed them out fast as I can I don't want to rap them in cotton wall and delay things 18 months I want to really sort them out quick as possible,,
Iv took local lads baby's training its been thick fog they ask if I'm letting mine go I say off course they say let mine go as well then I video liberation I get home all mine in loft they call nothing home ,,after 2 days they say can't train with you anymore ya two much for me ,but living here in summer most mornings it's thick fog break of day light I can't wait for it to burn of so they get tossed after few times they do same times as if its beautiful.

The only bad thing about training in rain is it will give them a cold head which will make it harder for them to clear the race site but if you have done it before go a head they are you birds after all

I know them pylons there's loads here but if I never took risks I never get things done pal I do lose odd ones but worse one ever was farmer hit pylon n wires were 10ft of field it wiped 6 of best baby's out my team that gutted me only found out because one baby walked to a house n lady called me n when there she showed me the wifres above the ground n top it off was less than mile from house I collected two from same lady both with broken wings and it was beautiful weather they must of been skimming the fields n come undone on the wires.

Rather train in rain than a south east wind pal south east wind ruins there orientation totally destroys them if trained regularly on .

Yes i rather not train in both but if i had to choose i would do same as you mate

I don't look at pigeons like others I love pigeons for what they can do for me racing once there retired I think world of them and there not passed on they stay here until the die but until retired there here to race ,,think I think world of them once retired because I know exactly what poor buggers went through for me training n racing.

I just can’t get around them I got a map of all pylons these things are like 50 miles across then a junction down to Harlow across top of sawbridgeworth I see that line across fields

Here on fens Neil there in most fields but do think they get use to them it's one reason my first 10 tosses are single ups only to 6 miles but I find this helps lots but tail winds I let go whole together head winds it's crate at a time because pylons

Can't see them all on map mate there's rows n rows here north or south with in 6 miles u see dozens of rows and also can't see that load at Dagenham either when we flew north in to Kent we had to train before them and behind them and its a absolute mass of wires on a13 opposite Dagenham ford .
