Silver is a dilute of blue, blues will only produce silvers if they carry the recessive gene

As far as I’m aware they are the same except that Schalies display some degree of chequering

Do you know what is a schalie compared to a slatey

I alway thought Schalie was just the Flemish word for Slate

Mosaic is two defined colours is it King

Yes Neil and these are very rare. I've only seen 3 true Mosaics in the flesh in over 50 years. And too answer the other question, Dun is Dilute blue in combination with spread is correctly called a dun.

I have seen only one with a red cheq one side and blue cheq the others the rest was like a normal red one

It’s a sport, very unusual and rare, the late Cresswell Bros had one called Union Jack for obvious reasons

In germany we only the word schalie instead of slate. The first time i heard about slate was last year when i had a Schalie/slate in my nest whilst george was over and told me the color is called slate. So atleast for us germans usually we just call it schalie i guess.

My dad always said that silver mealys are the ones that have a silver ish neck instead of the common green/purple color. But im no expert on this topic.

Here's a colour you rarely see a Brown. This is one I had a few years back.
