I learned years ago all pigeons care about is food and water ,
I had great north rd team at my parents address I got my own place and built beautiful loft in garden I got my cocks from parents house took them two new house stood them in front of loft all day long let them go 30 mins before dark they went straight home I went and fetched them from loft at parents no food given I took them back to née address put them in new loft next morning I give them one handful of seed and opened new loft they come straight out and went home I didn't let them in loft at parents house until 30 mins before dark I fetched them bk to new loft next morning repeated the handful of seed and let them out they went back to parents house but with in 2 hours I had cocks coming to my new place about 1 to 2 miles away by night I had most them going in and out of new loft by 3rd day all the cocks were broke to new address once they took a box I fetched hens and paired them up when they was driving hens hard I let everything out with in 1 hour 8 hens were coming bk with cocks to new loft by 2nd day all the hens were broke two new loft that season they won federation 3 times flying to a different address and there original loft stayed in parents garden.
I learned then all the little things mean nothing only food n water they care about really.

It wasn't me pal I was under advice from the man that taught me ,,them old fashioned fanciers definitely know how to break pigeons to a new address,,another friend of mine tommy rye from Swanley in Kent he moved 4 times in a season n broke em 4 times locals said he's loft was held together with 4 nails he moved that much ,but unbelievable flyer think he still holds record 17 x 1st money open races ,,only man I know give he's channel birds night nurse before he sent them so they slept in crate but he won 3 gold medals that season he's old travling man can't read or right seen him give baby's that went off colour kids calpole mixture can't remember if it worked but tommy was a character in pigeons. Tommy once put a viagra in a old boys tea at club but my dad drunk the tea instead of old boy next day all the members were saying Jesus this race was HARD lol tommy said he's RED COCK come well today old boy didn't have a clue what was going on but my dad sat there grining he's head off lol.
