I'm hoping birds I've bred for others will get to Tarbes 616 miles.

Is 616 miles to someone you have bred birds for?

How old are these birds King - can you send yearlings to Tarbes?
I am hoping for a few of my yearlings to go to Agen. a few of my 2yo to Pau and maybe a couple of older birds to go to Barca.
Then if I can get my 2026 babies over the channel that would be a dream season for me. ( only if I get them back of course)

If memory serves some years ago when Pau was the NFC blue Riband race, yearlings couldn’t be sent when that was lifted I believe Dave Delea won it with a yearling as it’s over 700 miles to us we wouldn’t have considered it but we used to send our YBs over the pond with the NFC as far as Rennes 372 miles

Yes I've sent ybs for the last 2 years to this fancier. He already had a couple of older hens from me. The older hens have already bred birds to fly St Maixent-le Ecole 402 miles (116th Open), Tarbes 621 miles (108th Open), Bordeaux 508 miles (2nd Section). One of the old hens has been herself to Bordeaux 508 miles.
He finished up with 5/8 Ybs of mine his year.

The ban on yearlings from Pau was lifted many years ago when it was pointed out that the longer flyers could send yearlings to the last race Saintes which was 568 miles to me.
The record distance flown in the NFC by a yearling is 803 miles up to South Shields by Jimmy Nicolson. He also holds the record for the longest flying YB in NFC races I believe some 458 miles.

I myself sent YBs in the NFC as far as St. Malo 368 miles. Other YB races I've flown were Cherbourg 300 miles, Guernsey 316 miles, Carentan 320 miles, Falaise 354 miles & Sartilly 360 miles. Rennes would have been 405 miles to me.

Brilliant King, what a lucky man to have those birds from you (a much more productive option than sending them to a OLR.) Oops, that just slipped out
Am I right in thinking that the Bicc still dont allow yearlings to Pau or Barca.....?
Are they off your Westrop birds...?

Wow, those 3 birds are remarkable, so has the lucky man got anything from those 3 or is it just pure Westrops hes got.?
Surely you wouldve integrated those 3 into your Marley family.......?
