Just had notification that our race with the 3Cs has been postponed again. Saturday marking for Sunday. We haven’t yet had a Saturday race this season. Although I must say better for me as at least I can see them home as our shop is closed Sundays.

I think the problem is further down west Worm. With the 3Cs there are members in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. I think the weather for down Plymouth way is for showers on Saturday but much better for Sunday. The wind though is supposed to be a bit stronger NE and cooler on Sunday. That will certainly help those down that way. Stoney Cross is only 34 miles for me.

I did think our Federation might look to postpone too, the weather down here in Sussex isn't looking good for Saturday !! It's ok in Melton Mobray though, I'm guessing they will look for an early liberation as the rain down here is moving in during the morning.
The weather is better here on Sunday, but its cloudy in Melton Mobray.
Personally, as long as they get a decent start, I've got no problems with them hitting rain at home.

I agree with you Trev about getting off to a good start being the most important thing. The problem down here is that although I will only be flying 34 miles those down in Cornwall will be flying over 100 miles, and although they have an advantage with the NE wind they could be flying through or into rain whereas mine would have the whole race in good weather. Never going to be ideal for all with such a big radius.

No Andy, as you say, it's always going to be difficult to please everyone.
