The Southcoast federation are combined with the Surry and Kent Premier Federations today in our race from Wadebridge (198miles to me) the 3000 birds were liberated at 8.30 this morning in a light West south west wind. I have 8 away today and would like to see them arriving around the 4hr mark, could be quicker we'll just have to wait and see. I don't have my strongest team today buy do have a little hen I fancy πŸ‘πŸ€ž
Good luck all

Well it turned out to be a decent race even if it was a bit too fast for my poor old plodders πŸ˜‚ I do kind of wish I'd sent my full team as I'm not sure I will get a better chance to have climbed up the ratings a bit as the birds were spread right across the federation. We had a different winner in our club with Dave Bridger taking the spoils on 1770ypm, he was also 2nd Federation with winner there going to Mr Cavanagh of Reigate on 1787ypm, the other top 10 fed positions were split between members in Brighton, Horsham and Reigate. I was once again off the pace down in 48th doing what I thought was a respectable 1556ypm, on the up I did get all 8 home πŸ‘πŸ€
Well done to all πŸ‘†πŸ‘πŸ‘
Onwards and upwards πŸ‘πŸ€

Well done Trev, it's the thrill of taking part I find more important than winning

Top work, Trev,
The fact that they are all returning means they are in good health.
Keep them ticking along, you never know when all your ducks will be in a row and, near the top of the sheet : Hodges. T.

The jockey is coming out in me, reading that they are coming well and not that far off the pace. Well, perhaps a little bit, but maybe......
First, what are you feeding them on?
Second, what training are you doing between races?
They are going well, maybe they can go a bit faster. 8-)

Haven’t learnt how to start a new topic yet ,

Hopefully Andy or Trev can answer this question,

How long does it take for your birds to be transported to. The 700 + races ,

How long will they hold there before bringing them home say to bad weather ,

Thanks
