Hi Neil i feed similar to you with the extra fats Thursday but i use peanuts and VL energy corn also a light feed of energy corn Friday morning. My mate uses fats every day he told me he read that he just as to keep them topped up. He said he starts is on this feeding a month before racing. i was at a moot and the man on the panel said one day of fats for every 100 mile they have to race. But i have not used any oils on my feed but sounds interesting idea cheers jack

Hello Neil, would the cold pressed oil be better than the oil seeds, in that it would be faster to get into the system of the pigeons.

HI mike i like to read yours and Neil's threads i race north now i am not?? i dont know how to put it driven as you two are to win but i still want to win were i come from Shepshed in Leicestershire if you talk about feeding pigeons its beans and canary seed's. I feed differently but i like to race all the way to Scottish race points .Also not many miners went in the winding house they were kept in pristine condition and the winder didn't want mucky boot prints every where. I have been following your writings on different forums since pipa forums cheers jack

Hi Mike i have to be honest with you i like to race every race all the way through i look after them all year so when racing starts we race. I fly the chaos system i only have a small set up 28 foot loft no stock birds some old birds that dont race any more for breeding i try to buy young pigeons in every season from your old fed (worcs). Also the new north road Amal run a futurity race from Alnwick so i buy some youngsters in that we raced last season for 17 grand one race just in are section the money split breeder buyer 50 places. Not all the prizes were won so young birds Alnwick as got to be my aim .cheers jack

Hi Mike Rob is in the north section i am in the centre section and there is a south section all sections have their own prize money. They sell 300 rings in each section at £6 each then have a WhatsApp auction and what ever money they make in the section they race for the money. Yes i adjust the feed on the old birds as the distance gets greater. The young birds are on darkness just have to get my young birds to race like Robs cheers jack
