What is everyones thoughts on Dna Certificates for pigeons to ensure that the bird is 100% from said parents. Does it increase the pigeons value? Does it increase the trust for the customer? Or is it actually all for nothing

I would say yes to both of those Leon
In terms of the customer it's reassuring to KNOW that what you think you're getting is 100% what you are getting
In terms of the value - when the bird comes to market the DNA Certification invariably means the bird sells for more money
Of course, the pigeon stll has to be tested, tested and tested again to see whether its actually any good.
No piece of paper can eliminate the hard work that needs to be put in

Only to those wanting to buy in pigeons I would say. As I’m not interested in buying in pigeons it means nothing to me.

I wouldn’t spend any real money on a bird without it. All my breeders have one so I know exactly what I have. I have also tested all the breeds for the performance genes, and that has thrown up some interesting results.

I think it’s a excellent thing and helps no end if spending big money
I will never have one as my days of spending 3/weeks wages on a pigeon have gone
I realised you don’t really need to spend that kind of money , maybe it’s the area I fly or loft location but I paid £155 for two hens that unfortunately finished laying last year but they bred me 9 individual fed winners between them so it changed my thought process
If I lived in a more competitive area I might have to think again but I know lofts in my fed think nothing of bringing top pigeons in off pipa etc and kits to race at a grand for a kit don’t seem to do any better .
Just my way currently but definitely think DNA is positive

If i was going to buy a racing pigeon, i would like to know all about this bird. And i mean everything, the pedigree can give you all you need to know about family lines. so to have the DNA of the bird proves it.
If i was to buy a Rolex watch I would want to see the paper work.

If i remember right Neil, some place near to Christoph and Leon home, you can send a feather to get the result, I think it was about 10 Euro. I am sure Leon will tell you more.
