How do you keep on top of health when you have all these pigeons mixed from all over the place from different fanciers. Got to be an impossible task to try & keep on top of any issues. Not good for the sport I'm afraid, everyone to there own thing but it's not for me.

Yes I understand that you want to stay in the sport Devo & this is the only way to do that with you not being able to have pigeons.
So what happened to the 432 from the original intake.

Yes hard to get your head around any of it Devo with regards to racing unfortunately in general with what happens on any given day or race point, just enjoy it what your doing to stay in the sport.

It's NOT going to happen Neil. The RPRA won't want to upset the running of their own annual disaster. And many who enter keep sending year after year with no thought of the birds welfare. MONEY drives them. I myself have no time for them they are not races, just training tosses, there is NO competition, just luck.
These races will lead to the end of pigeon racing.

The best I have seen so far this year is the Moray Firth OLR

The money side is not foe me King, it is about staying in the sport and the enjoyment i still get. At the moment i depend on finding good breeders to breed my youngsters. And in some OLR your racing against some of the best breeders in the world. I dont agree they are just training tosses, but that is your view.

If I got birds from several lofts and housed them all in my loft. And then sent them to say 200 miles would that be a race or training toss? The time they took to return would mean nothing, as they are all coming to the same loft.

I enjoy doing some OLR. Some are better than others, I've currently 10 in Thailand Masters and I'm looking forward to seeing how they do. Yes it will be tough but, where else can I race my birds against some of the best fanciers in the world. As for luck of course that's true but when you look at some results from the worlds most popular OLR it's surprising how much luck certain individuals have.
