That's good, Trev.
I know a lot of blokes dont think it is worth it, but I think they can get extra vitamins and trace elements which may be lacking in a grain only diet.
Besides, they enjoy it, and I enjoy preparing it for them, so everyone is happy.

I have to say I don't do cooking but do quite enjoy putting a little spread together for the birds lol I agree there is a lot in fresh vegetables that the birds won't get from grains which is why birds go fielding especially when they are feeding babies, mine are ravenous for anything they can get at the moment
Having kept chickens over the years as well it surprising how much they will forage for and how different the yolk colour is in free range compared to barn chickens.
