I’d have the same cocks scoring at 348 miles that were scoring from 90 miles Neil. No medications or anything in the water in those days.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I find I have a certain line that’s excellent at 200 miles but fails at 300 miles yet my fvw base pigeons win from 50-350
Trouble is you now need to be in top of health to sprint so I find it best to test regular and treat for things like fungi regular

I agree I need to change my approach a bit with the short distances I’m now racing Neil.
My birds back then were a complete mixture of families. Van Hee, Busscheart, Ko Nipius, Cattryesse, MacDonald, John Ellis and probably a few more lol.

Mine are now Andy I don’t have a pure pigeons
Fvw , zwol . Mikes hen , Gaby . Hereman
All muddled up not worth £5 the lot
I haven’t a clue about what the other lads talk about on here with the new names I just look at results here to be honest the strain/ fashion never comes into my head if it did I would just ask Mike but he knows I haven’t a clue

On another note
The ladies at pigeon testing centre do a offer on testing kits I think it’s 5 for £70 or about that
Works out cheaper than blind treatment although it doesn’t cover respo
One kit from March a month or so or so is a great help I think , plus over the year is only £1.50 a week is how I look at it
