Doesn't look like they had a very good race despite the nice weather.
Only 156 clocked from 3000+ birds. Only 5 clocked in the NC section.

They only verify their first arrivals Dave. All the NC, NE & NW section senders timed. I think the winner in Crewe has the first 3 open.

Ah, thanks Andy, I stand corrected anyway, it was 1895 birds.
So, you are saying that 156 members verified the first bird only. So from 165 members who sent most clocked one bird. I guess that constitutes a GOOD race. Never looked at the national result like that before.
Thanks for enlightening me Andy.

No problem Dave. It will give a better view of the race when the final result is published. Probably in a couple of weeks.
It looks like most members timed. I would say it was a good race in the end.

One of our club members got 3 of his 5 so I think on the whole the returns were pretty good.

Phil got all 5 of his. The first 2 of Phil’s were late bred cocks.

It was never going to be very easy on our side of the country but the birds come well, i got 26/27.

Must say they come back in super condition.
