My search for good youngsters goes on, i have 2 being bred which will go on loan to a loft. I am still looking for more for the future, the plan is if i put them out on loan. I can then get youngsters bred from them for my future OLR racing teams. We know there are really good birds out there, It's all about finding them, and we know that can be a very hard thing. Also some of the prices being asked for some youngsters. Well that will put anyone off, but this is where you have to work hard and find what you want for the future. Many hours looking for the next big champion, but there is only 60 minutes in that hour, So in any of those minutes you could strike gold. At the moment i am checking some birds, for the future of a loft in Germany. They have done very well with the Anton family of birds. and now they are bringing in another top family of birds.

In the last few years alone, four national ace pigeons with the “Anton” blood have attracted attention at four different lofts within Germany:

For a long time we have also been following the superlatives of the Leideman brothers from the Netherlands with their successful gray line around top hen "Goed Grijs" (including 7 x 1st prize). Now it was finally possible for two ORIGINAL Leideman gray horses to move to our breeding loft thanks to an outstanding transfer coup.

I'm assuming "White Wizard" (the first image) has been acquired from Leideman?

Either Leideman now owns "El Zarka" (the Sire of"Goed Grijs") - of which I never knew that

Or this pigeon was acquired direct from Van Den Brande and they put their NL ring on in the nest - as "El Zarka" last I heard was still with the Van Den Brande's

Yes Mike, they came in from the Leideman brothers, i am wondering if they are going to cross with the Anton family of birds they already have.

In my experience George the more good pigeons you throw at each other the better the odds are of producing good pigeons - because you're not trying to reinvent the wheel

All of my exceptional racers, every single one of them, was a breeder of really good pigeons (and not just 1 either)

Here it is Mike.

Gebr. Leideman also owns ‘El Zarka’ (father ‘Goed Grijs’) and a full brother to ‘El Zarka’ (‘Uncle Goed Grijs’) … and naturally also full brothers and sisters to ‘Goed Grijs’. All bred up to National superstars!

Ah ok, so El Zarka has made the move then

As you'll know, "Goed Grijs" was acquired from Van Den Brande as a squeaker and raced with super success
