We had a good race yesterday, although a stiff test against that West wind, most birds home by nightfall. Which is ironic when ours would have flown over parts where birds were held over.
They did well Andy, I know I'm a bit South of where your birds should have been flying but that was a strong wind !! You only have to look at the results of those flying west to east to see that !! As well as the BICC winner doing 2207ypm apparently the South Coast Federation winner was doing over 2300ypm !!
For our birds to have been as quick as they were ther was obviously a fair bit of North in it too !!
