Overnight rain now stopped

Some very heavy showers overnight. Dry at present this morning.

This would be the most rain we have had in 24 hours for a long time. And it's forecast to continue overnight and right through tomorrow.
Unusually, it's coming down from the north. Usually rain from the north, ( think south up there) is either brief or not heavy.
