But 14 hr on the wing birds are pretty few and far between really

I estimate that about 1% of the convoy have the breeding, fitness, desire, capacity and determination to hack 14 hrs on the beak

Those birds are to be commended no matter where they are

They're as equal to me in the North as they are in the South

As it’s very low in fat / protein other than the day before they go and the day they come home
It might work for you and I hope it does I can just see a head wind at 200 miles leaving you off the pace with it even with the one day he loads them up
Plus you got to look at the level of competition
Maybe when he races or if he races in his new area it will show us more

That’s what I found, Neil but as I said I mucked up on the Thursday feed.

Pete I tried Frank's system good system was 10 weeks running never out first 10 in fed n big birdage but I tweaked feed pal ,,never once did I let them eat what they want Saturday,,Saturday I want easy digestion food going through there body pal all light stuff. Sunday I went out with family they had protein all day ,Mon, Tues,weds,Thurs, tossed fed light food never give any energy or maize for the 10 weeks they raved but by 10th week I could tell pigeons would need maize to finish season pal ,it was very simple system pal one week sent 7 hens cost me £3:80 was 1,2 3,4 Club topped open all 4vin first 7 of open ,,
It's good system but filling them with all them mixes Thursday seems crazy the energy from that food be used Sunday pal n busting a crop on Saturday is something I never do done it when I was younger n race following week was rubbish. Hope this helps pal plus if my birds trapped like Frank's I wouldn't make fed sheet where I live pal.

I watched a video of that lad, and fair play to him for posting it but he done a big thing about feeding and then showed a pic of a hen that had flew 11hrs and 15mins, if mine looked like his after 11hrs I'd be very worried. He strikes me as his own biggest fan. He shows videos of his pigeons and they don't look in good nick at all in my opinion. But in this social media world he seems to have a decent following because he can sell himself

And he helped one man in florida thus Yr and man won 4x1st the man had never won before,,
Plus he gets very good birds because all imports and export pigeons to usa go through Frank that's why so many one lofts employ him as a shipping agent .
But I do find him very nice fella met him in person had 2 hours with him and was down to earth.

Don't want to rip him too much Anthony as he's willing to put himself out there to be shot at but that hen that had flew 11hrs looked awful. What do you think of the general condition of the birds on his vids? I always think they look dull. I'm not disputing the man as a person I'd never do that but he's another I get the opinion if they flew in this country you'd never have heard of them

I do kind of know what you mean though, years back when holdovers were still a thing inland you'd often get lads pop up after an extra night in the basket who were usually also rans so I do know what you mean in terms of days in the basket do give neglected pigeons a lift.
