Yes I did Neil. As you know I only have a team of 10 widowhood cocks. I split them 5 to Blandford 17 miles and 5 from Stoney Cross 34 miles. From Blandford my birds would have had to fly directly NNW from the race point in a lib of 870 birds where most would have been flying W. I was 5 miles shorter than the next shortest member. Mine expectedly all came back from the SW. I had 4 of the 5 fairly close together the other one well late. I also got all 5 from Stoney Cross.NeilA wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 8:01 amDid you bother to send Andy being only 17 miles

Was you not tempted to send the lot to stoney cross not sure it was worth the 17 miles raceAndy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:15 amYes I did Neil. As you know I only have a team of 10 widowhood cocks. I was Neil but wanted to see how they done especially as it was a sectional lib. A cheap trainer at £3.50. Not sure about this week though as it’s the whole lot going together. Probably around 1,800 birds that will be going even nearer the South Coast than last week. 35 miles South of me. Combine going to Chale. Both races now going Saturday for a Sunday lib.NeilA wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:17 amWas you not tempted to send the lot to stoney cross not sure it was worth the 17 miles raceAndy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:15 amYes I did Neil.
