I made my prediction based on the forecast for Friday.
Can we revise our times for Trev's race?

The BICC liberated from Barcelona at 6.15 this morning, with the South wind someone could get a day bird in the UK, as long as the rain forecast in France and Southern Englad later today doesn't get too bad for them πŸ€žπŸ™

No decision from the NFC at Tarbes yet due to the prospect of rain moving across the Channel and Southern England this evening.
It’s grey full cloud cover in north London Trev
Had rain since first light still light now
Wouldn’t be great for your birds to fly through

That's the thing isn't it Neil, the race controller has a lot more information than I have so you have to trust that they make the right decision and I'm sure they have, it's far worse here this morning than the forecast suggested it would be yesterday !! I know good birds will battle through most things but having already flown 300+miles they don't really need to hit bad weather when they still have a couple more hours to go !!!

Looks like the NFC are going for an afternoon liberation which means the birds will be having a night on the tiles in France tonight πŸ˜‰ let's hope they are early risers tomorrow 🀞

They liberated at 14.00hrs, let's hope the birds find somewhere dry to roost overnight as there could be some rain around !!

Guernsey 2, Friday.
Due to bad weather on the channel and south of England the birds are Held Over.
Lets hope it's better for them tomorrow mate 🀞 the wind today would certainly have moved them on a bit.
Guernsey 2, the convoying organisation have decided to bring the Guernsey pigeons back to the UK.They are looking for a race from Yeovil on Sunday. This is due to the poor forecast on the channel over the next few days.

First bird in the Barcelona international has been timed on the French coast, just 74miles from Dover so there is a chance of a day bird making it across into the UK 🀞🀞
It's in Moyenneville, covering a distance of 548miles, timed at 19.48 European time !!
Well done to both fancier and pigeon πŸ‘πŸ‘
That didn't last long lol, another 3 in now, the new leader has flown some 576miles and was timed at 20.05, all 4 in France. I'd be chopping at the bit now if I had birds in the race !!
