There not boxes Neil, I've got shelves about 4 ft long & devided with a central upright ÷ the shelf into 2 individual compartment. It would just be the top 2 compartments I need to adjust once the grill ventilation is in place.

Just got to wait for delivery of the grills then I can crack on with it, maybe have to fiddle the top 2 boxes to fit in.

What size are the grills Dave snd where did you get them.?
I bought some plastic ones from pj lofts at Donny.
They were far to high for just one board width so cut them lengthways down the middle and got 2 out of 1.
Still gotta get 2 more now though . Each vent finished up at 600 x100. Just right for one board width.

Hello Dave they are of a metal alloy, I want to say 480mm × 60 mm I've ordered 2 for the front & back in 1 section to try.
I can make them fit & adjust my top 2 boxes.
The plastic ones go brittle after a while, I had them in the bottom of the loft originally very little air was coming in when open just not enough draw for me & fill up with dust/ cobwebs, & if in direct sunlight go a yellow colour not white.
