Feel for you Neil, that must be so sickening for you 😔
Its all these bloody artificial nesting sites they keep creating that isn't helping !! It will all backfire eventually when the numbers get too high, which they will.
I hope your injured birds recover ok 🤞

I was looking at video footage from cameras set up on those nest sites in England on Facebook.
These people are oohing and aahing over the gorgeous little falcons.
Makes you sick.

Never known it this bad
Like you I don’t keep loads but finding 5/6 real good ones at the same time is hard and to have 3 -4years worth of work
ripped apart in 5 weeks is hard to take
So to find say 5 good ones I think you need to breed 40 -60 plus now if the peregrines taking 50-60 per cent you need to breed a 100 and that I would hate
To me that’s not what pigeon racing is for me , you could give me a budget as big as you like and lofts from another world but I would say no thanks as it’s a fun hobby that I strive to do well in
Them big set ups make me cringe if I’m honest and I have no interest in knowing there results or bloodlines etc
