I've been off grid a bit this year, had a few medical issues myself which I'm hopefull that they are finally getting to the bottom of.
We also became Grandparents again Wednesday, another Grandaughter, I'll post a picture over the weekend.
I will also try to start putting up my race reports and results again, as well as taking a few more pictures for you George :D

What a lovely old pigeon.
What strain was he, king?
He was a Marley Westrop. A grandson of Marley's 'Rome' Cock who had only ever raced North, but was turned to be 9th Open Rome flying 918 miles. The following year it was back North to the Faroes to record 16th EM section, 48th Open flying 732 miles. Many would have then put the bird to stock but Marley sent him to Lerwick 565 miles the year after, a race point Marley won from 15 times.

Ahhhwww - glad you're feeling bit better George.
I dunno about you but I was never taught the importance of drinking water as a kid and as a result don't really like water.
Nowadays, all the kids have their little bottles and are told to have a drink every 10 mins or so.
Education is a wonderful thing.
Just get as much down you as you can George and hopefully you'll start to feel better.

I do sort of wonder why they want kids to drink water every 10 minutes, unless it's to make them consume more of the chemicals they put in the water.
It was only about 18 degrees here today, I've drank, hang on, no water at all. Three cups of coffee, I'm having my second beer, I'll drink some water at bedtime with my inhaler.
When it's about 35 degrees, I can get through some water. But the notion that you need to consume litres of water when you aren't losing any, you have to ask why, and who is making these statements?

I know what you mean Murray. I can’t remember the last time I drank just plain water. Roxanna and myself don’t drink alcohol. I haven’t drunk since being with Roxanna, 20 years now. Roxanna doesn’t drive so I have always driven so stopped drinking. When up the club I just drink orange juice and lemonade. At home though we do drink loads of tea. Could easily be 10+ cups a day each.
During the height of summer I may drink a bit of juice but that’s about it
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
