Each to our own Buster each to our own

I suppose better to have been a "has been" than a "never at all" ?

I’m rinkside at Torvill and Dean tonight

Not the biggest ice dance fan but i can respect anyone who reached no1 in the world in their chosen sport
More has beens that are well passed there sell by date, some folks just never know when to get off living in the past, not taking nothing from them
I spent many years with a job which allowed me to watch some really big bands who peaked many years ago and not had a hit for decades yet the people that want to still see these bands is unbelievable filling stadiums all over the world

The great old bands are sometimes written off as 'has beens'. The same applies to old sports stars and jockeys, etc.
When I returned to racing after many years away from a serious injury, some people mocked. I just said, "I'm a has been, you never were".
