To be honest the inland pigeons haven't done too bad this year considering we've about 3
Good luck with rebuild Goose, I look forward to hearing how it goes in the futuregoose1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 8:59 pmTo be honest the inland pigeons haven't done too bad this year considering we've about 3We've been lucky to stumble across a good hen and she's just about carried us inland. Distance wise it's a bit of a rebuild year, we sent what we thought were a decent team to NFC Sigogne last year 600 plus miles and to be honest we got our pants pulled down. They'd done well at combine level (think 2nd combine was best position) they were decent reliable birds at that level, hopefully we'll learn from it next time we have a go but it won't be this year
Sounds very much like what I need to dogoose1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 8:59 pmTo be honest the inland pigeons haven't done too bad this year considering we've about 3We've been lucky to stumble across a good hen and she's just about carried us inland. That to me is what pigeon racing is about, breeding birds to go the distance, and when you manage to get a good one, especially if it scores a few times, the feeling of achievement is fantastic.goose1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 8:59 pmTo be honest the inland pigeons haven't done too bad this year considering we've about 3We've been lucky to stumble across a good hen and she's just about carried us inland.
