It was flown in a stiff west wind, resulting in Eastbourne being nearly 200 yards in front of the more westerly clubs. My main bird for Perth came at 2.19 after a noon lib. She is a 4 yo cheq pied of David Black Northern Ireland bloodlines. She finished third in the club and won the noms for £35 . She will be sitting 14 days on the day of basketing. My other three for Perth are a 2yo sister to my main bird, she is a dun pied. A John Halstead/David Black 2yo cheq hen and a blue cheq 2yo cock which is Cyril Beattie Northern Ireland cross Alan Wicker. All are long distance stock , so i hope for a good race.

You sending Trev?
Well done Les good to hear mate 👍😁 There were a few birds missing our end, our club winner is still 10 short tonight 😬😔 he is a new young fancier who has had an exceptional season so this weekends race has hit him hard, hopefully he will see a few more home 🤞🙏 I got 10/14 yesterday and 2 more today, I sent the two yearlings I have left from Buster, one was my 5th bird yesterday, the other was on the loft at 7am this morning. Sadly the two missing were both Perth Candidates paired to Perth candidates so I'm not sure now who I'll be sending now, I will have half a dozen or more though Les👍😁 I know you had the blood lines for the distance mate and the birds I looked at were very nice so I hope they do proud my friend 🤞🙏😁
Well done Trev, hope the missing ones return safely, if they don't you can still send the ones they paired to maybe they will pair up to others as well

Hi Trev. yeah Danny Porter is a man to watch. That's a crying shame for you and the partners of the Perth birds. It was a risk to send my four , but they hadn't raced since Hexham and were now on eggs and i didn't want them getting like me, lazy and fat!

Hope you find something to send. Be a stiff one with a head wind all the way. Tc Trev 8-)
