Over here, for lots of stuff you have to buy in at this time of year because the more popular products get sold out real fast the nearer racing looms; so its a case of act now or face being buggered.

No, I never worried about chucking stuff out, but when you find it's 4 and 6 and 8 years out of date, you have to give yourself a hard slap on the wrist.

Yes, having a local vet who is mostly treating large animals, and knowing that I have a fair idea, she is happy to supply me.
The fact that I have not asked her for anything at all, well that helps.

Again I'm a bit late on this one so apologies if I repeat anything already said, but all the time the birds are healthy and growing properly I used to treat for most things but not so much these days, in my experience you will soon see if you have a problem with worm infestation. The only thing I will treat for is coxidiosis, as you can't usually detect this until the damage is done.
I'm a bit late doing that this year as it does say not to treat when breeding !! Does anyone know what problems this could cause if I did treat while breeding ??

Mike will know as he told me not to use it past Monday when racing so it must knock the racers a bit I am not sure on breeding though but maybe best to wait as it’s only a two day treatment
I do think worming is a good thing a mate of mine didn’t think he had worms but blimey I couldn’t believe what came out of them and he only wormed as he thought the feather a bit dry
I think Steve on the site knows what worms you can detect and what doesn’t show he made a interesting post on the topic
I just go moxidectin 1 day 2 days later baycox 2 days wait 12 days after the first moxi then work again
Least I know I’m covered funny enough mine are on baycox today

Yes Neil, when racing if you're gonna Baycox then you'll need to have it completed by Monday night

In my experience Baycox is by far the best treatment for cocci

Fret mark would be a concern I wouldn't do them while pigeons in the moult I use Moxidectin.
