It's great to watch them getting to know each bird and how it works in the loft I have notice they have a little fight over the top perches

well I've worked on the loft today I've fitted the breeding boxes and sectioned off the middle section not finished it yet I'll crack on tomorrow and then I can get the 5 stock birds in there.
Bit of advice would you let them pair up at this stage of the year would be good to hear back on this ?

It won't hurt them to pair up, throw any eggs if not to hatch then just split when you need to, well done on getting work done on loft

That is down to your own choice and circumstances Tony, I have bred this time of year as have others, and then you will find folks who won't breed after April/May or even June

Ok thanks Buster, I might just let them pair up, it'll give me some practice for the breeding season I get some rings for this year and put them on see how they do next year mate, thanks for the feedback as always mate

One thing I just thought of Tony, you say you are doing work on loft do not change things while they are out as will make them skitty when coming back in

no worries Buster they are in while I'm doing a bit, middle section done today and I have moved the 5 stock birds over, doesn't take them long to pair up just the odd one on its own might have to get myself another cock for the Hen, or would one of these cocks go between the 2 Hens what's your thoughts ?
