If you feel they are a bit strong on the wing, then it would be a good idea to split the team in half when letting them out for the first time.

Definitely keep them a bit hungry, before letting them out.

Hunger tames lions after all!

Another tip I will suggest especially if they are getting up to the upper perches of the loft, is to give them a good soaking before letting them out! They will then spend the time sunning themselves and drying out rather than thinking about getting up in the air!!

thanks to you all for the feedback on the birds
I can only keep trying my system and get these birds trained to to it, without loses I hope.
I will keep you all up dated on these.
I have been in touch with the other fanciers who have birds for me which are ready week of the 17th for the Y/Bs and another has some quality stock birds for me which will do for the breeding season.

Yes I've heard that, but it was to put a bath out for them at the end of the rat run let them all have a good bath the call them in along the rat trap to the loft :D

Put some washing up liquid in a bucket hold birds in it for a short time then just let them go on floor, make sure all is safe around you as they will not be able to fly if anything comes
