So after waiting all day to catch the eclipse, i found it ended not the way i thought. But that is how life goes, the image falling behind the mountain. So it was time for a few Peronis.

We did get about 95% down here. Just the very top right corner was uncovered by the moon. All our solar lights came on. Not as good as in 1999 when I was down in Cornwall. Total then and you couldn’t see your hand in font of your face. But still quite a site and one I’ll never see again.
