I've tried that before, seems ok with a nice smell to it, only thing is the delivery cost about £10.

Trying a bag of Natural Floor Dressing (ACS) Granules

They have only been down a couple of days Neil. I've never used a floor dressing before and when the warmer weather returns I'll go back to deep litter. But I had to try something different with this very wet weather. The birds looked fine but I wasn't happy with the floor. I've paired the birds in this section a week earlier than I was going too. The 5 pairs all laid within 6 to 8 days which I was pleased with as 2 of the hens are 8 years old.
