Devo caught the train from Melbourne to Bendigo and I met him at noon today.
We had a brief guided tour of Bendigo then headed home.
Sometimes you just strike someone who you instantly click with. George is someone I have instantly formed a friendship with.
On the hour and a half trip back we talked about a lot of things. A lot of things.
He is now sound asleep, having hardly slept for 36 hours.
The visit will be a success
Hope you all have a great time, look forward to the follow ups

It's been a restful day, we went down to the village and did some shopping and had a look around.
It poured with rain earlier which put a hold on proceedings for a bit.
Devo has had a look at the birds, he likes this one in particular, it's a grizzle Thone x Billion Dollar Baby youngster. Possibly the best one this year.
In his honour I've named it George.

Going to Bendigo to visit David at the weekend, and taking a trip to Horsham to see a couple of the flyers there early next week.

So setteling in to the Aussie life, I have to say I am being well looked after by Murray and Cathrine. Things are so different here in the sport, compared to the sport back home.
I have to say Murray as got is breeding to an art, and he is already planning for next year, This is what I like to see in the sport, because the season soon goes around.
We all know Murray only keeps a small shed, but I have to say top quality of birds are kept in these small shads.
We took a trip to the corn store, now this is not like we have in the UK, But this is were making your own mix feeds comes into play. And this is what Murray does, and I have to
say he does it well. Observing the way his birds are around him takes me back to when I was in the sport. He works on the clock, making sure all tasks are completed, and this goes on
three times a day. And I must say his birds are looking very good on it.
Sunday drive to David Cox loft, well I know this was going to be special. Murray as told us about this guy, over the past year. Well let me tell you this guy as the birds to do some damage,
the loft is full of top quality. Murray made a statement, you can go in the loft blind-folded and pick six birds. This would make a great team of class birds, I must say I was given the
chance to handle some really top-quality birds. Some really good youngsters being bred by some of the finest imports.
The loft is a very good size, and also as 24 single rearing boxs, and the youngsters that have been reared from this loft. Are well reared silky feathers, and great in the body. I have to say,
while I have been over here, the youngsters being bred in both lofts are a credit to Murray and David.
Murray is trying to sort out another loft visit.
