Please try not to be Asinine, it’s NEVER ok to knowingly liberate birds into bad conditions, it has happened of course usually down to taking a risk with the weather, trying to race to a timetable or just plain bad race controlling, the RPRA centenary race comes to mind.
We all know that the birds must be given a good start ie good visibility at the race point and immediately up the line of flight, I’m not advocating perfect weather conditions all the way home, some of the most satisfying races we competed in had head winds and showers en route.
Attempting to race in Winter is asking for it, if the result only affected those involved then that would be regrettable but acceptable but it doesn’t

Would we not end up just having a boring forum where everyone says well done to each other without a debate of any type ?
That would be more like a friend’s WhatsApp group than an open forum I think George .

When I can be bothered, I give my opinion on any issue raised on here, I do so in the best interests of the game as I see it, if that upsets you or anyone else then so be it, if you don’t want to look at my offerings then don’t
Have a Merry Xmas

I agree if someone is correct, I also agree with someone that’s won more than all of us put together as in my way of thinking his methods and birds worked can’t see a problem with that
If you want me off here George tell admin to ban me that’s the best way

George, you have been a member on here for some years. And along with others kept the site going for a long time. I guess the site may have closed down, but good members like yourself kept it going.
