I don't know him just what I see on utube says few tosses before racing and then 2 loft flys aday ,,iv heard he's nfc birds get single tosses from nigel langstaff where the breeding lofts are but this is second hand info iv not seen mark gilbert say that.

Just think there's many roads to win
Another pal feeds high fat will top fed first race and he's birds have enough fuel for 400 Miles but few years back 350 mile channel race nose wind if my memory right he clocked something like 17 birds in 5 mins or so ,,this lad makes 1 mix races first to last race on it n he's yb are on same mix he win most yb races as well and this lad is in real tough area racing.

Think Nigel Langstaff play's a big roll in Mark's success more so in the last few year's, a m8 of mine from school day's is well in with Mark, & Nigel he runs a trainer wagon that he libs from Nigel's place down on the south coast regularly once racing starts. But as been said Mark is top of the tree regards sprint, middle or long distance.

All interesting takes and makes sense to adjust depending on your specific circumstances. No doubt from starting off that will take some trial and error and adjustments. Also good to see the forum so active.

He trains more in a day than I do after the first race though mate
Flying time and work to me is balanced to calories
You can’t drive a bus and eat the same as a bricklayer
This was years ago in 40 member club not recently

What's Mike and Neil's thoughts on mark gilbert
He feeds sprint ,middle ,long distance birds
Superstar plus 24,7 and for longer races 2,3 days fats added
He's sprint birds were awesome
Middle distance awesome
Long distance awesome
There's top lofts against him in he's area probably playing with 3 to 5 different mixes but struggle to beat mark feeding 1 mix and 2 loft flys per day .
I’m sure i can get how Gilbert feeds for Tarbes / Barcelona easy enough
He's dropping big teams sprinting Mike, lads like Dean garrett ,Khan brothers n others in he's fed know how to sprint but mark does poor them in race day on superstar plus ,,same as sounderland n maddison bk when they was in prime there cocks got only superstar plus was unbelievable think 18 first wasn't it on bounce in 2011 or something.
