A nice, bright and rich eye George, the pupil looks quite full which might make reading it a little trickier. I'm sure Andy will an honest opinion of it

Sorry George but not one of the better eyes you’ve shown. As you say the photo isn’t the best. There is a reasonable inner circle that is hard to see because it is full of dark shading, black. It is nicely serrated. The circle of colouration is a violet although a bit pale. The iris is a nice deep colour but a bit flat and full.

just got the pedigree of the hen print is very small see if i can enlarge it

because i have loads of eye photos Morgan has taken thought i would start a topic showing them on another site one chap kept on what has the pigeon done what has it bred most can't remember it was just showing different eye had to finish it
