Andy wrote: Sat Jul 22, 2023 4:06 pm Well done again Murray. What were your returns like this week?
I must say that although I have been down the sheet most weeks flying in the Glastonbury club I am enjoying the club racing again. We have a great club headquarters and with most members staying for a couple of drinks the social side is great.
I have to report that I am running out of birds.
I lost two from the race, which was sad but not unexpected, and I have had another two go missing in the two days since.
We are being slaughtered. The hawks are chewing a hole in them.
Really sorry to see this Murray, any news on moving yet

All the best mate.
Have to agree

Murray wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2023 7:36 am But saying that, after 6 races, Nick has won three, I have won one, Ray has won one and David has won one.
So I have competed quite well against the blokes with a big setup. Nick bred about 200.......
This week I sent two. :D
Yes well done mate I did see you had only sent 2 and others loads

Looks like you have a nice team Murray. Re the guy who bred 200 youngsters ....how can you connect with them? All the top guys here in UK(national races) all send an army every race. Sending over 60 plus birds to 500 mile races, just means they lost another sixty through the season. The average fancier can't compete against these guys unless all the stars align . One positive outcome from the mass senders is that they keep the price of birdage down

You keep enjoying your birds mate. ATB Les
