Started raining here at 4 and not stopped with some heavy bursts in it

It's been dry here all day and got quite hot late afternoon !!
They were only 60miles away but our birds obviously hit something somewhere as it took them 2hrs. Some members also said birds were arriving wet !! And they were turning up all afternoon.
