What a day, started dry before 7am heavy rain, 7.30 thunder storm then back to rain which did get lighter until it stopped around 10am and now sun is out

Same here. Dry and calm. I think the worst is going to miss us though and go more to the West up through the Bristol Channel.

Yes across the Midlands and Wales going to be worst then up to bonnie Scotland for the finale, very dull here at present wind did start getting up but dropped again
