A dull cloudy morning. The wind is stronger today.

Wet.
It's been raining all day, and it's starting to get heavier.
A massive rain system is over the eastern half of the country. Rainfall records which have stood since 1950 could be broken in Sydney.
Killer is in Woolongong, in the Greater Sydney area, and is going to get very wet again.
It's not new, there are marks on the wharf at Echuca showing how high the Murray River has got at times over the last 150 years or so. It's Australia. Everything is extreme.

What is surprising is how cold it is out there. The wind is blowing down from the North East, you would expect it to be mild. Obviously it is coming in a huge loop from the Southern ocean, off the ice, and picking up moisture off the Indian ocean.
It is bloody cold.
All the birds are closed up and as snug as I can make them.

Apparently in New Zealand, it's snowing in Christchurch. In October!

Dry with very strong winds here

Had some rain for few hours but stopped now and winds have dropped

Brightened up nicely this afternoon and the wind has dropped a bit. Still fresh though.
