Surely it's the wings not the tail what matter, I have seen loads on chat saying same over the yearsGeorge and Morgan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 4:20 pm was told it was a sign of a weak back Steve and never heard of anyone say they had a winner were the tail shot up
I’ve heard the same over the years. I haven’t taken much notice of it though. I’ve had ones with tails that go up, ones that fall down and ones that stay straight. I’m not overly keen when they go up but wouldn’t condemn one because of it. I would still test them the same as any others. As you say Steve I can’t see how the back or tail can have any barring on flight.Buster121 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 9:06 pmSurely it's the wings not the tail what matter, I have seen loads on chat saying same over the yearsGeorge and Morgan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 4:20 pm was told it was a sign of a weak back Steve and never heard of anyone say they had a winner were the tail shot up
I think what you’re referring to as lilac George is probably the recessive violet. This appears more violet than the dominant violet which is almost white. The recessive violet’s don’t breed as well as the dominant ones.George and Morgan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 10:04 pm Andy have not heard you mention the lilac eye have you ever seen one
