Well done, Tony. You have crossed the biggest hurdle.
You;ve taken a lot of care getting them to that point, the youngsters have been given every chance.
It'll be easier now, for you and the pigeons.

my next batch of 10 late bred birds arrive tomorrow can't wait all moving in the right direction

The other 10 Late breds arrived today these are younger than the ones I picked up 2 weeks ago I can tell by the size and the little tuff of feathers on their heads, but they have settled in ok cleaned them all out after being in there from 11.30am and I have just fed them up basically doubled the corn for the amount of birds in there now.
I also got 5 stock pigeons given to me with these Y/Bs stock birds are showing who's boss by claiming the top perches bit of competition never hurt anyone good to see, but I will keep my eye on these over the next few days.
I have from tomorrow off work for a week so I will be building some more perches and also sorting out the breeding side of the loft for the stock birds to go into give the Y/Bs a bit of peace. Every bird has a Phone ring on now in case it flys off.
Any advice is always welcome

Get the new ones out quicker than others, they sound the ideal age, have the other ones been out again

yes been out again left them longer with the feed some sat on the trap while the odd few up to the loft roof I didn't really want them flying round so after about half hour I called them in with my whistle and corn they where in like a shot, same again tomorrow

All going well Tony. You’re doing a good job. As Buster says let the new ones out with the others as soon as you can,, I would aim at early next week.

thanks Buster all going well so far, new Y/Bs have been in the Aviary most of today so things are looking good, they all come in like bullets for the feed getting use to my whistle and corn shaker but it's working well so far, competition for the corn is good to see
