Going well mate

We went to Bendigo today, and on the way back we stopped at the lay by at Marong on the outskirts. Next thing this pulled up.
It's the Western Pigeon Federation's WPF transporter on the way back from liberating at Mildura, 300 miles.
I had a bit of a natter with them I think they were a bit surprised when a pigeon bloke just wandered up and introduced himself.
The WPF is one of five big Feds in Melbourne along with a few smaller organisations.

I've got 16 pairs on eggs and had a sneaky look under a few just before. I think I'm looking at a 100% hatch which will be pleasing. They've all got homes to go to.

We can't win a race!

My mate Terry called this afternoon, his first one was one of mine, again, and it's another one out of a daughter of the Billiondollarbaby.
When the results went up, I was a smidgen disappointed, he was second again, beaten 1.44 over 220 miles. He sent 33 birds.
Then I saw that another bloke's first bird was off the same pair, he sent 28.
Another bloke's first one was another one of mine.He sent 14.
So I bred the clock birds of three flyers in one race.
That's not the first time this year. I seem to be getting something right.
