Great lads, great YouTube videos each weekend and they always have great results not sure what happened at the weekend but for them not to have good returns and be within the top 5 birds home something was very wrong on the day.

I've been to South Shields a few times and I've met these lads. I'm surprised they are throwing the teddy out over one race (it may be something else that's happened). Bad races happen, it's something you have to get over. I'll bet in the years they've kept pigeons this isn't their first bad race.

Maybe being on U-Tube, with a large audience, makes it mentally harder to handle the bad times. Because all lofts have them.

It's all part of the sport, dust yourself down and get on with it. If there is a change in the way the birds are returning, fact find. Who What where when and why.

It was bad for a lot of different fanciers across the country even in Ireland people had bad returns there to, so was it something to do with the magnetic pull ect.... or am I looking to deep in to it

commonwealth games?????? theres always a disaster on large events got to be extra signal jamming/blocking or moderating the air waves for terrorist attacks it's happened to many times to ignore

No it's always blamed for losses. IF extra signal jamming/blocking or moderating the air waves was the cause. It would effect ALL birds in ALL races. And it doesn't. Seeing flying Ants or Seeing both the Sun & Moon together is another often used
