In our shed we have all sorts. The Billion Dollar Baby is Van Den Bulck, the grizzle is a Jos Thone', I've got a cock this this year off imported Eijerkamp pigeons and the Free Beer's mother is half Gaby half Heremans.
And of course there's the Pitbull cock from Darren May's pigeons.
Mix em all up and in a generation you've got pure nothing. :D
Strains are a fallacy. The legend of yesteryear, Leo Heremans, never had a pure strain. He was always hunting for something better to improve them.
Ha- ha Murray - made me smile when you mentioned "free-beer" it's a name you don't forget but I have already forgotten the other names you mentioned, kittle this and pitbull that.
Yes, the wee Free Beer came home after the OLR, she'd flown 22 trainers and 4 races, including going 420 miles twice in a fortnight at 9 months of age.
She was wild and angry, but now she's a little pet. :D

The first 3 birds were bred through Kittle lines, so OLR all over the world data is gathered on the breeding of the winners or maybe the top 5 in each race. So this is showing data of the breeding for 2026.
I wonder how many birds in the race were Kittle lines? It looks impressive seeing the first 3 birds home were, but if a large percentage of the entry were of those lines not so. The data can be very misleading. ;)
Yes King i can only agree, but I dont have the time to go through all the results. I would say this is for all the olr world wide. I can not see them getting the data from all club races. What it does show for me, different breeding lines do well in different countries. It may be the distance in the races, so i can only go om their data.
