Yes Neil training & loft flying ok, hen's probably better than the cocks as I have a lot of ferrals about sometimes the cocks will just try & drive them if the ferrals land, but on the whole yes never a question mark about either & I don't have an answer why they've gone off the radar.

Nowhere near it Neil, libbed at 7 am 36 mls to home, only pigeon back was 19.30 pm that's about as good as it gets.

Hello Dave, last year down the leg into Cornwall this season it's East to West.
I think it doesn't make any difference Dave whichever direction you try to build a team to progress, they are definitely going to get hit on route back wether your training or racing. Most of the few I sent on as trainers 36 mls were yearlings, with a couple of 2 year olds.what I would say is that the temp was 18 degrees so not cold, i haven't got any answers it's like I've thrown them away.

How were the returns, with the other members of club/Fed.

I don't have that information sorry Albert, I haven't spoken to Clive who runs the trainer's on a Wednesday.
From my point of view wether they got hit on route back or just after liberation to me they haven't put the effort in to get back.
How I look at it is stand up & be counted or take the easy option which is stand down & they chose the later. I've not had any reported or seen a feather since & I don't think that's going to change my thinking .

Dave had these birds much experience ?, as I had the same kind of race a few years ago when I entered 19 inexperienced birds into a short race, with only 4 trainers under their belt, my first bird was over 6 hours, and by ten hours I only had three, I had 4 drop together at the 11 hour mark, and had 2 next day and only got 14 in total. What happens here is, inexperienced birds get dragged, all over the fed, and if they get a strike they are in an even worse position.

Hello Albert, mostly yearlings & a couple of 2 year old hens.
They didn't get raced last year but was trained out to around 18 mls, this year they've gone a different route out to about 16 mls so yes seems similar to you. I only sent 7 pigeons on the trainer a small amount but most of the members are all in a small local area so a large proportion of the total pigeons 515 on the day were coming back this way. As I've said many times I'm only a small back garden fancier & in comparison with other fancier's that half my ob team gone. They were liberated at 7 am my only pigeon arrived at 19.30.

They might of hit a lorry or something flying low pal my pal once see a flock of racers hit a exit sign on motorway said first few dodged it but it wiped a load out and one member in my club had 27 yb killed in one toss by a pylon if it wasn't for another pigeon man seeing it and collecting the baby's and calling the fanicer he would of never known sorry to hear this about your team pal.

Was it totally flown out or fresh
How far n distance were lofts on the trainer
Could they have traveled like 40 miles past you

The pigeon that came back looked good bouncing around so not sure why it has taken that long to come back didn't have any mark's on it or cut like if it had been hit by a hawk, all feather looks ok none missing. Probably 10 loft's within a 2 /3 miles distance from me.
