It's a great strength, not a weakness to say "I don't know"
What I won't do though is to go away and regurgitate something that I don't understand and have no knowledge of in order to try to make myself look good. What invariably happens is that the author makes himself look like a prize plum
I don't care what Google says. When I work with Products (for instance) I base my knowledge on what they've done in my own experience. I'll often use a product in a way that the Manufacturer doesn't directly advise. I care about what it CAN DO not what it's advised to do

In case it is, I would just like to say you have me all wrong mate.
If I google something it is so that I dont have to be ignorant of any particular fact for my own benefit.
You couldnt be further away from 'me' if you think that I google it to make myself look good - but then you dont know me do you.
I really do appreciate yours and everyone elses comments and hang on most of the things you say but if I want to clarify things for myself, rest assured I will and if that means regurgitating google then so be it!
Hope you dont feel the need to take umbridge to me pointing this out and that theres no harm done and I can still ask for and receive yours and everyone elses advice.
