I don't think anybody blames the decline of the sport on the RPRA. The sport has had its heyday and is in natural decline. And just because its still popular in other countries doesn't mean the sport can become popular again in the UK. The decline is all over Europe, even Belgium.

This CEO report is a smoke screen to simply hide the RPRA ineptitude. Even if all the home Unions joined together it wouldn't stop the decline or increase membership. The criticism I have for the RPRA is the way it is run. Its still run on 1950s thinking, there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. I think even you will agree on that.

As King says, the decline in membership is a natural decline, no one person, council or amalgamation is going to change that.
The RPRA's "ineptitude" is a complete failure to recognise that fact and adapt, adjust and plan accordingly and that BB is one hundred percent down to the piss poor management!!
I will say again that they are too busy looking after their own self interest to be pro-active in bringing about any sort of change for the betterment of the sport.
It is down to people with similar attitudes to yourself who are blind to the fact that change has been needed for the last 10 years. People who still stand by this stupid 1950's rule system, bury their heads and think that a "positive attitude" will make it all go away.

I think the sport has a good few years left. The Unions that adapt to a smaller membership will last the longest.

Surprisingly I completely agree I firmly believe that a joined up thinking and dialogue can only help

Absolutely King, like you, I believe that pigeon racing will continue but it will be the RPRA itself that will slide into oblivion.
It will likely be superceded by another organisation, maybe a renegade region, another union or something completely new - shouldnt have to wait too long the way that they conduct their affairs.
Perhaps you are the one that can turn the light off BB.

Just having a bit of fun BB. I do enjoy our little spats.
To be totally honest, after the experience I had at the EM region last year, getting an insight as to the way things are run and the realisation that individuals cant change anything - I really dont care anymore which is a real shame for various reasons.
In any case, I think it was you who said sometime ago that there is no point in flogging a dead horse!
