Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

200 miles 10 paddy rice 10 barley 80 mix
300 miles 24 hr fats at lib before race
400 miles 48 hr fats at lib before race
This worked great he won sprints middle n long distance
But hopper was only replenished once it was all eaten
would you use a Gaby mix or Beyers for the 100/200.
For the 60/80%
My friend used beyers koopman and the pellets was koopmans gold corn a cheese and sheep fat base pellet
He's goal was distance but mid week n sat club the birds won 16,1st sprinting
Strange you should mention the Koopman mix as I’ve been thinking of trying it this year rather than keep adding protein grains to a base mix.

Would that base mix of Koopman be only for obs or do you think that would be a to heavy mix for ybs.
Seem a lot of peas in that mix about 50 % carbs ?.

It's the lack of distance really if I was to entertain Channel racing then that would probably be one mix to try out.
Yes I think your right Neil only going a very short distance whichever route we go in 2026, think I'll stick with what I used last year as it's small grains easy to digest.

Yes 50% carbs 15% protein 8.5% fat. Hadn’t given ybs much thought yet, probably to heavy for the sprints.

I just thought it was a good mix if I ever went over the Channel Steve, yes probably a bit heavy for ybs as you said.
